On Monday, May 28th 2018, at the Department of the History of Polish Literature in 20th Century at the Jagiellonian University, a screening of the "Out of the Limelight" film took place.

On Monday, 28.05.2018, at the Department of the History of Polish Literature in 20th Century at the Jagiellonian University, a screening of "Out of the Limelight" film took place. Gathered guests were greeted by prof. Zofia Zarębianka and PhD Karol Samsel, who introduced the participants to the subject matter of the film.

After the screening guests had the opportunity to discuss with documentary’s director Rafael Lewandowski, who willingly answered many questions, and with PhD Karol Samsel, who quoted parts of Zygmunt Zaleski’s diaries, putting focus on its poetic values. After the official part, a banquet took place in the inner courtyard.

The screening of the film was accompanied by a vernissage of the exhibition, which presents the historical context of the times of Zygmunt Lubicz-Zaleski’s life. It also presented the quotes from his works and contained numerous archival photographs. The exhibition met with a warm welcome among the invited guests.
