On March 4th, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Zygmunt Zaleski Foundation, a concert by the Deco Ensemble took place in the Chamber Hall of the National Philharmonic.
The Deco Ensemble has been recognized and praised as 'one of the UK's foremost tango quintets „with a strong and highly individual voice” (The Daily Telegraph).
The ensemble was founded by Bartosz Głowacki, accordionist, graduate of The Royal Academy of Music and scholarship holder of the Zygmunt Zaleski Foundation.
The Deco Ensemble performs tango pieces combining tradition with the Nuevo Tango style. It has an interesting programme and stage performances which are full of depth and creativity .
The group has performed in many prestigious concert halls: National Philharmonic in Warsaw, Salle Cortot in Paris, Purcell Room, The Royal Albert Hall in London at festivals in the UK : City of London Festival, Norfolk & Norwich Festival, Oundle Festival.
